The Hosts

Aarni Heiskanen is a Construction Innovation Agent who started his career as an architect in the 1980s. He has been one of the pioneers of digital design in the Nordics.
As a management consultant, Aarni has helped IT organizations and AEC firms in strategic planning and transformative development projects. He is also a software developer who co-created Thinking Portfolio, business portfolio management SaaS, and several other visual management tools.

Aarni is a co-founder of AEC Business, a real estate and construction communication consultancy, and an avid blogger and podcaster at aec-business.com.

Paul Wilkinson is a technology consultant, writer, freelance journalist, speaker, and PR and communications professional with extensive experience in the UK AEC software industry, particularly in Software-as-a-Service, BIM, mobile and social media.

Paul has been blogging about construction technology at Extranet Evolution since 2005, the year his comprehensive guide to construction collaboration technologies was published. He is a past deputy chair of the digital group at the Institution of Civil Engineers, chair of the technology group of the UK BIM Alliance, and a past chair of the construction and property group of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations.
