How Can Supersensing Improve Infrastructure Construction?
A webinar on technologies that make infrastructure projects more efficient, safer, and smarter.
Online on September 22, 2021, at 2pm UK Summer time
This is a free, live-streamed WDBE Community Session in collaboration with AEC TechTV.
According to the recent PwC report titled The global forces shaping the future of infrastructure, top-performing organizations are now deploying tools to increase productivity, improve efficiency and safety, and reduce costs on major capital projects. Another new study by InEight found that the tide is turning on technology adoption in the industry. About 96% of respondents said they think technology can improve productivity, while 71% think it already has led to improvements
COVID-19 stimulus programs in the USA, Europe, and Japan include investments in infrastructure. The rapid deployment of stimulus projects requires efficiency that is only possible to achieve with interoperable digital tools and frictionless flow of data.
There are many solutions that can potentially help infrastructure owners and contractors to make their projects more efficient, safer, and smarter. The problem is to identify the solutions that provide real value, are practical to implement, and are interoperable. We’ve hand-picked companies that in our expert opinion fulfill these requirements. We’ll also learn about the Digital Roads of the Future initiative that supports R&D in digital twins, data science, smart materials, and automation and robotics in the context of expressways.
